Where should I begin ...
we had first qualifications for AWC in the beginning of April and it went quite good. We had 2 clean runs with 1.place, one disqu, and one run with 2 faults, so we are 2nd in the team reults and first in the results for finals. This weekend we will have another qualifications weekend so we will see :)
And also other good news: we finally went for an x-ray and Zookie had perfect results: HD A, ED0 and shoulders free of OCD.
There will also be some news concerning the puppy plans - but first i want to wait for out kennel name to be confirmed!
Sollte alles nach Plan verlaufen plane ich im Herbst 2016 einen Wurf mit Zookie. Der zukünftige Vater ist ziemlich sicher, allerdings möchte ich ihn gern persönlich treffen, was ich im Sommer vor habe.
Welpeninteressenten können sich gerne bei mir melden (laura.reinhalter@gmx.at) allerdings ist die Warteliste für Hündinnen schon voll.
If all goes well, I'm planing a litter with my zookie in autumn 2016. There is a already a father - to - be but I want to meet him, before it's fixed.

... but yes i was a bit busy and lazy recently. We did a few competitions, sometimes we had good results and sometimes we learned what to train more.
So i decided to retrain Zookies Running contacts. Unfortunately, I don't have the chance to train on a dogwalk more than once a week, and even then, the "normal" training suffered. So I got quite upset, as she started to do this huge stride when i allowed her just a bit of speed infront of the dogwalk - without speed we got perfect striding and contacts. It would have been okay for me if she only had problems in trials, but it was also bad in training.
So here's the new situation, I started Target running contacts training. For now it looks good I think, and I'm really happy that Zookies breeder Olga Kwiecien supports us with this. Here is a video of recent trainings and Target in the end:
Of course, we stopped competing because I don't want her to do dogwalk now. But we took the chance and ran some jumpings. And last weekend she could win the Jumping Open run - yeaaaah . She was 2 seconds faster then the next medium dog - wow I knew she is fast but she doesnt look that fast on videos I think :O here is the video
So finally Zookie got 18 months on 29th december, and on this day we also ran our first competition in a small hall in austria. She was measured 42,3cm there, so exactly what I measured at home :). As I was really busy the last weeks with exams, snowboarding and christmas, we didnt have much time to work on slalom.So the results were one funny dis and one slalom fault in the second run!
Two days later we started our journey to germany and to BACK. Zookies sister Babou, her brother Brego and of course mummy and some uncles and aunts were running there too. I was really nervous and curious how she will run on sand, so unfortunately I was late and slow most of the time :D. Here are some runs:
On second day we managed to run a clean jumping run and got 2nd, just a little bit after Werner and Xi, I was quite happy with it, so we even qualified for the finals. It was soooo great, we got eliminated because of a flying see-saw, but who cares?
On sunday we had another clean run in jumping and won it, as fasted of all height classes!
I am especially proud on our contacts, Zookie is really not stable on it and we have lots of work to do, but she only missed one dogwalk contact on sunday, where I was 300meter behind her :D
I just forgot - We took part in another obedience exam and this time in class 1!
It was quite thrilling as I really had no time for practicing all this things (and in the little time I had, i trained slalom :P). But it proved again Zookie is a compeition dog - she even got 10 points at the box (which i feared the most). Only some little mistakes like greeting the judge while heeling and - of course - it's obviously impossible for a pyrshep to sit and stay when there is something thrown to apport!
Nevertheless, we got our Excellent and could now move on to Class 2 (LOL :P), which we won't to in near future I guess! :D It's really a pity, Zookie has really much fun doing all this stuff and I think she could really be extraordinary and kick all this obedience-bcs asses. But I think kicking Medium-bcs asses will also be fun :D
Ja wir haben uns getraut, wir haben an einem Unterordnungsturnier teilgenommen und in der Obedience Beginner Klasse ein (niedriges) Vorzüglich mit 229 Punkten gemacht. Da wir das ja nur zwischendurch und zum Spaß machen (und nicht grad regelmässig trainieren), bin ich trotzdem sehr stolz, bis auf ein paar kleine Unaufmerksamkeiten und die Box, die zwar besser geklappt hat als gedacht aber trotzdem nicht soooo ganz richtig :D, war es schon ganz okay :).
Yes we did it, we competed in our first obedience competition, in the beginner class. And we were not that bad, zookie got an Excellent and 4.place from 13 dogs :) . I'm really proud, especially because we are not really training it regularly.
Und außerdem haben wir ein Agility-Seminar bei Zeljko Gora gemacht. Es hat wirklich großen Spaß gemacht und der Muskelkater danach war wirklich groß :D.

Unsere Agilitylaufbahn schreitet immer mehr voran, ich werde versuchen ein neues Video zu machen in nächster Zeit. Das erste Turnier (nach einer kleinen Ortsgruppenprüfung in Österreich zwecks einmessen) ist auch schon geplant - es wird die BACK in Kreuth sein (ja wir machen keine halben Sachen :D). Ich bin schon gespannt wie Zookie auf Sand laufen wird und in so einer Atmosphäre!
Our agilitx carrier is getting forward, i will try to make a new video soon. Our first competition will be BACK in Kreuth, the biggest indoor competition in europe I think, because yes ... we're not doing things by halves ;D .
